Two Good Things

Good Thing #1:
Yesterday I booked my hotel and flight for New York City this December. Yay! Ryan and I will be heading there on December 7th and coming back on the 11th. I'm defintely looking forward to this trip. It'll be nice to get away for a little bit AND it'll be Christmassy and I love Christmas.

I've been planning on going to New York this December for the past ten and a half years. I went to NYC on a school trip back in May of '95 and said at that time that I'd be back in December of '05. I will be there for the 25th anniversary of John Lennon's death so hopefully there will be some memorial stuff to do. Even if I don't check out any organized memorial events, I can still definitely do some John Lennon related things for that day.

Good Thing #2:
Today I had an interview for a position within my company where I would be able to read medical information and actually be able to use my brain. I think it went okay, but I'll have to wait and see if anything comes out of it. I'm not a huge fan of interviews and I'm never completely sure how they went, but this definitely did not go badly. They still have all of the external candidates to look at, though, so I won't hear for a bit.

  1. External candidates suck. If they get the job over you, you will be bitter and end up slashing their tires and then getting arrested and spending a few nights in a cold cell with Big Momma, who will cut you in your sleep, then throw you around like a beanie baby nobody wants anymore, until you cry so much tha teventually you become dehydrated and have to be rushed to the hospital, and even if your kidneys can hold out and you survive, you'll likely have permanent kidney damage that haunts you for the rest of your life. Stupid external jerks.
